The team & story behind Battery 245

The vision for Battery 245 Brewing Co. was brought to life by Jonathan Elliott, Michael Ljungberg, and Jeff Kilday — three hands-on partners with strong roots in the North Coast and a shared dream of bringing Warrenton its first craft brewery.

Jonathan Elliott brings 15+ years of brewing and bartending, Michael Ljungberg offers 30+ years in business and brewing, and Jeff Kilday adds decades of restaurant expertise and 26 years running the Wine & Beer Haus.

Together, Jon, Mike, and Jeff transformed a former RV repair and supply building, steps from the Warrenton Marina, into the city's first craft brewery. With a 7-barrel system, family-friendly restaurant, and a bright taproom opening to the waterfront, Battery 245 is a tribute to community resilience, creativity, and the power of local pride.

The brewery's name pays tribute to Battery 245, a World War II coastal defense installation just a few miles away at Fort Stevens. Our space represents not just a place to enjoy great beer and food, but a fresh chapter for downtown Warrenton.
